It could have been a great series. The overall story line is very good but the fascination with knife fighting and winning against trained soldiers with rifles just gets to be way too much. Along with the 120 lbs. woman beating the crap out of EVERY man she encounters is exhausting.
I loved the book. I laughed so many times, some of the parts were hilarious. Franklin continues his great world building as he introduces new plots and characters. after the disappointment of the grid going down a second time it was difficult to continue. haha but getting back into it the ending ended on a good cliffhanger. One that isn’t such a sucker punch.
