Love the characters and the story. Ordinary people who weren’t prepared for what happened ban together to try and survive. A must listen to book, that is narrated spectacularly by Kevin Pierce.

Finally, characters who dont mess around.

Great book. Great series. Ryan Schow is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in the genre. It’s refreshing to not complain about characters doing exactly what they know will come back around to kill them later. The invasion/occupation makes for a good setting, and the characters themselves are realistic and interesting.
