The book was good, a true story but parts were extremely difficult to read as this was the true story of real crimes that occurred (as you can tell from the title extremely difficult topics).

This book has it all. Great characters, great action and an amazing story. Everything Franklin Horton writes is amazing and Kevin Pierce is the best in the business. Do yourself a favor and start from The Mad Mick and listen to the whole series.

i thoroughly enjoyed the series and I’ll probably listen to it a few more times.

Although I’m not a prepper, the thought has crossed my mind as to what we might face if the world started falling apart. This non-zombie apocalyptic thriller was very enjoyable, informing, and realistic in some aspects.
