Review from The Mad Mick →
Another Franklin Horton book that’s hard to put down providing PLENTY of action for the reader, until the very last page!
Good story line, though a little slow in developing but likely to introduce the characters. The dialogue seems too formal in language. Sometimes the characters speak with academic words unrealistic. In such a desperate chaos…..people don’t talk like that. But I am going on to Book two as the story is compelling.
I love stories narrated by Kevin Pierce. That’s it!!! There’s all the good in this book. It’s a copycat EMP issue but this particular story has cancer, Alzheimer’s, autism, psychological problem characters, tons of women drama, another gang (with the gang leader from prison), yada, yada, yada. There are zero nuggets or pearls like the..
I love Mark Goodwin’s books & Kevin Pierce is an excellent narrator. I’m a Christian and his books are all clean and very inspiring. They keep me so interested I can’t wait to get from one to the next. I usually don’t write reviews, made an exception this time because I so enjoy his books.
Great story. Action, adventure, gun play with just enough humor. I like the way Connors past is being slowly rolled out and how Barb is “growing up”. If you liked the first 3 Mad Micks, you’ll love this one. Fastest 9 and a half hours I’ve experienced lately.
Though not as gritty and action packed as many of the others, the Days of Want series is a great addition to any collection. The characters in this series are super prepared, in a way that 99 percent of the world population would never be. That’s not a bad thing, because it makes for an..
holy shit. been waiting for the next in this series and I finished it within a day.. couldnt put it down.. well worth the wait and the plot twists were awesome. Franklin you are a beast ? congrats and thanks can’t wait for the next one… and the next one and the next.. and of..
Great series all the way through… love that these were grouped together! Lots of action and lots of things going on through the books. Love this genre and I hated for the series to end… narration as usual was excellent
I listened to all the books in this series… just couldn’t put it down.. It also makes it easier when they group the books like they did with this purchase. I could move on the the next without any thought. I really enjoyed these and will continue on to the next set that were also..
