this was good, ups downs , the little bits of conversation and jabbing between Loyd and Jim. ??
separating the main story and weaving in the advice while very slowly revealing wisdom between yhe knowledge.
Great story, some excellent prepping tips. The story is almost parallel to the current events happening now. The antagonists are also close to real characters. I actually appreciate the biblical references throughout the story. My only gripe is with the encounters between the Federal and Coalition forces, as there is no use of air power..
I enjoyed this book. I was expecting an end of the world novel, but it was definitely a murder mystery during the beginning of the end of the world. Does that make sense????? Maybe book two will be different. I would recommend it.

ok so I wanted to finish the series before I left a review, this was awesome!! I cant remember what book introduced us to mad mick but it was the apocalypse. I’m a Zombie nut & this is one of few books I can say that kept my interest like this without 1 dam zombie..
Great audio for slow economic collapse. Can’t wait to see what happens next. Best narrator in the business. Smart choice on Kevin Pierce.
A bit slow start but picks up and moves along fast …. interestung read.
I’m an avid reader/listener of true crime. Jackson is far better than any other author I’ve experienced. There is no equal in his research of the characters and plots, and to how he let’s the story unfold. I HIGHLY recommend.
These books are page turners. I love them all. On to the next, post haste!
