This was a really good book as most of Jack Olsens are. The only thing that bothers me is the narrator takes long pauses between chapters but he is a great narrator.

Had to force myself to stop listening and do other things I needed to do! What a story! By the end of this book you feel as if all the ppl being written about, are ppl you know. Even the very evil, very despicable killer. I even had an image of what he looked like..
The story was decent, although somewhat predictable and the execution felt rushed. I felt like events often seemed forced just to move the story along the projected path. Like when Battle was caught he just walked into a huge posse; a man like Battle would never walk out into an area he could not see…
