I have finished the Age of Embers series and loved it! I went straight to this and it’s off to a good start. I had recently had thoughts about this very plot. Let’s just hope it doesn’t happen. Worth the listen for sure.

Blood and Banjos is a really good end to a great series. If there’s another book (or three) then it will be fabulous. However if this is where this series ends then I am satisfied, but I’m kind of greedy and will always want more. Thanks Horton!

Loved it. The narrator is awesome. The story seems very real. Couldn’t put it down.
this book paints everybody except survivalist as bad guys. the whole thrust is that I will take care of me and mine and I am justified in anything I do to anyone else in the world.

This is a really good book. four friends gets stranded a thousand miles from everything. It’s written well and Narraited really well. There is plenty to keep you interested. once I started o couldn’t quit. if you like survival books and when the power goes out you will enjoy this. I Did
