Review from A Spy’s Guide to Thinking →
I have read the Travelers series and the rest of the continuing series and love the each story.Love how Kevin Pierce brings the stories to life.
This novel had a common arc that went through most of it, which kept my interest. There wasn’t really a definitive climax though, same as the previous novel. That’s the only reason why I docked a star, but everything together in this book makes it more like a 4.5 rating. I’ve really grown to like..
Every single day brings more disheartening news about the utter breakdown of society and the great, overwhelming evil that pervades it. Mark Goodwin has encapsulated that in every single one of his books. He has the God given ability to write and use his talents to convey a suspenseful story with all the punch of..
HORRIBLE ending. Wished I hadn’t started reading. No ending at all, authors just made a left turn into a DEAD END. Nothing fit or tied together. What a disappointment.
this last book is different from what you get throughout the series, but damn if it does end tugging on the heart strings. this is who we need to be. people willing to sight for what we believe in. I miss America.
Review from The Age of Embers (A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller) →
There were moments I had to shake my head at human nature. Storyline was great and the characters came to life. The Narrator is the one speaking the book alive, No sound effects and none needed. It’s like his voice was meant for the characters. This is Raw, Gritty, Dirty, Violent, Also tender. For me..
I only wish Mark could write them as fast as I can listen so I didn’t have to wait. Lol. Fantastic, keep ’em coming!
A good read…..or listen in my case. I’ll listen to any book title read by KEVIN PIERCE! He is at his pinnacle and nobody can match his style.
As the other books of Mark, full of action and suspense to keep your attention that its hard to walk away.
