We didn’t get too far into the book before we realized that the language wasn’t to our taste. Mr. Pierce once again gave a masterful performance for what we heard. The story and subject matter could have been told and been just as compelling and riveting without the gratuitous f-bombs and other unnecessary foul language…
This has been a highly enjoyable series so far. I am looking forward to Shiloh Ranch.

the overall story is is very interesting but the characters seem made up. there’s no emotion,no feeling and they don’t act like real people. the author does the best he can and it’s better than I could do that’s for sure but the characters just don’t seem real and the narrator doesn’t help.
