Great listen. I’m a big fan as it is of Kevin Pierce. I kind of just float away on the story and time flies by listening to books read by him. The story itself is very well written as well, keeping me listening far past the time I should’ve been sleeping! He touched on areas..
Quite repetitive and slow. One thing that aggregated me is the misuse of artillery terms. He says “in effect” when he should say “adjusting fire”. There were some other things like that.
Amazing story, this woman was put through the worst abuse I’ve ever heard about. She shouldn’t have served 1 day. Her husband was worse than Hitler
This book has a good story. It is very religious. So definitely not for everyone.

Great story, excellent narration. the story of a modern American hero and trailblazer. Full of interesting information and exciting stories.
With this being an audible book that I can listen to on the go gives me the possibility of enjoying a truly great book such as this one. It was an enjoyment that I never thought I’d have out of a book. Thanks so much.
