Horton is truly my favorite Post Apocalyptic writer bar none. This book does not disappoint. He and Kevin Pierce make a formidable team in the audiobook arena. Review from After the EMP: Darkness →

I like a good surviving the apocalypse book, unfortunately this is not one. The characters are all unrealisticly dumb just to make the protagonists seem superior and so the author can continually stand on a soap box about there every word.

Way too Christian for me

Review from American Exit Strategy →

It’s got the narrator reading scripture or else, hell storm and brimstone. Just YUK. Too bad Audible will not allow me to return this book. Apparently Audible can decide when to put a limit on returns. Phooey! So this was a wasted credit!!

Love his books

Review from The Beginning of Sorrows →
