characters you really want to keep up with in a fun fast-paced story. I loved it.

I really enjoyed this story, despite the sad subject matter. The narration was good, and the storytelling was factual and detailed but kept me on the edge of my seat. I appreciated the 2015 follow-up epilogue, too.

the store line was great and kept me in it the whole time.. I was unable to stop till the end. can’t wait for the next one

This is a must read. A really really good read. this is one to read over and over to understand life from a different view.

The story jumps all over the place and is often hard to follow. The characters are fairly two dimensional. The book is not helped by the narrator who rarely even attempts any characterization. Male, female, Northern, Southern, black gangbanger or white supremacist, they all sound almost exactly the same. It makes an already disjointed book..
