I liked the Mad Mick series, and I didn’t know what to expect with this one. I was not disappointed. Already bought the next one.

Typical apocalyptic stories. The names are kinda dumb and repetitive. Not a masterpiece.. but decent listen.

Another great story in the series. Intertwining Bible prophecy with modem times both calls one to action and to seek God and points to the signs that our world is ever changing.

Boyd’s is a storyteller. The pace of the story is not overwhelming. It’s perfect and allows for the characters to be well developed. Wes is now one of my favorite characters. I can really allow my imagination to capture the story because of how he lays everything out.

The plot points of the relationships are hammered and rehammered repetitively and the action doesn’t feel fully worked through but still a good book. Audio performance is always great.

In my opinion, this book is the best in the black autumn series. It pained me when I had to press pause. It was hard to put down. The jumping from story to story keeps you in suspense the entire book. I’m looking forward to more books by the authors.

I knew it was the first book of a series, but it finished right in the middle of some of the stories. I doubt I’ll go any further in the series. they could have given the reader a little closure.

As usual Mark Goodwin hits it out of the park. We do need to consider how quickly our country can change. As we have seen over the last eight months as COVID-19 and riots have overtaken American rights it is not hard to see how this book could be our future. Many people of already..

This series is very well written and is so apropos to things that are going on today in our nation and across the world … eerily so! I really enjoyed the characters and the story was fast paced… a great listen.
