Franklin Horton never fails to deliver. I hope the 2nd book comes soon. This series promises to be a different type of apocalyptic story and I love it.
Another great book

This work has a really far-fetched story and unlikable characters. It’s unbelievable and not entertaining at all. Save your time.
I don’t know what to think of this series….I follow and like a few of the characters, it’s just so bleak…
Loved the story and characters. The whole way through I kept catching myself thinking “holy cow, how would I handle this situation?”. Realistically scary this wasn’t just a story that entertained me, but made me stop and ask “what if?”. This was my first read/listen by R.E. McDermott and it definitely won’t be my last!
Overall I enjoyed the book. I felt it was a little long-winded at times, but it was all part of the story. It was interesting to hear the different points of view and the author melded all the stories together very smoothly. I am notoriously picky about narrators, but I enjoyed this one.
Fabulous series let the Word and Spirit confirm or deny where we have been heading the birth pangs sure seem to be closer and of higher amplitude. thank Brother Mark and Kevin
To Whom It May Concern, This is an excellent, and plausible, post apocalyptic book series. I highly recommend it.Regards,Sam Thompson
R.E. McDermott creates post apocalyptic stories that are realistic and believable. And Kevin Pierce is my fave narrator of this type story.
There is a lot of jumping around and introducing of character’s, so at times I wasn’t sure I was going to get through. I assume this was all done to prepare for the ending and future books.
