I have read alot of books in this genre and Ryan Schow absolutely nails it. I really got into the characters and their back stories. The action gets your adrenaline going. Kevin Pierce obviously does a great job narrating as always. I highly recommend the series if you’re like me and enjoy post apocalyptic books..

As someone the believes in the constitution but is not very religious it would have been better to leave out all the praying and bible stuff. It just takes away from the story line.

it was okay. I struggled to stay interested. it probably wasn’t the right story for me.
Extreme right wing ultra religious bigoted BS that disparages Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Gays, and Chinese.
Great story overall! I struggled to keep the characters straight even after listening to book 1 twice. But I was able to enjoy the book for sure

Would have been really good but for all the religion. Way too much “God” stuff.

a bit of a slow start and alot of getting to know main characters thoughts, but great story..make the next books in the series available, they have already been released to the public.
Gets very repetitive and towards the end I just wanted it to end. It had a very intriguing beginning but then it fizzled.
