As always good material is made even better by a great narrator. The stories are heartbreaking and the loss of yet another small town in America is sad. This is a good read with great reporting and a good but sad ending.

Freeway story was one of amazement, hurt, reality and America. Only wish was that it was read by him. There’s a certain tone that comes with this story. The guy doing the audio was not fit for this reading in my opinion. But overall great story!

Narrator was of the wrong ethnic background to narrate with passion. Missing essence in the delivery of the narration.
Just don’t start one of these books if you have an early morning shift. There’s no way to get any sleep once one is started.
If you can get past the initial few chapters where he explains EVERYTHING like you’re an idiot (seriously, everyone knows what a portable battery bank for a phone is) then you’ll enjoy the rest of the book.
