Review from The Complete Disruption Trilogy: Books 1 – 3 →
The overall story was well thought out and the wrap up of the trilogy shows that as all the pieces fall into place. It’s clear that McDermott knows his way around ships and boats and all manner of water vessel. Some of the side characters were written a bit too stereotypical, however. My confidence in..
“A bunch of Post-Apocalyptic Mall Ninjas” The writing is on point and K.P. is the perfect choice for narrator. K.P. and R.C. are the best post-apocalyptic narrators.
I read Ann Rule’s book The Stranger Beside Me a few decades ago and only recently listened to it on Audible. It was a very good book then and still still is. However, this telling of the Bundy murders is more detailed and less about his relationship with other people (Ann Rule) and more about..
Very entertaining, but marred by no male adult making good decisions. The values of the author also seem off. Will not be getting the sequel, because there was no admirable adult making wise decisions and having the courage and moral strength to do the right thing.

His eventual revelations from his OBE experiences are extremely interesting – somewhat in the vain of the Seth books. At other times it appears that..
The story line is great, can’t stop listening. Narrator is wonderful as always. I’ll be revisiting this series for sure.
