I read up to after book 4 hoping something new would happen. I was severely disappointed, the same thing keep happening just with new antagonists. no one learns from there mistakes either which even a hamster would have by now with how often the repeat them. I would recommend not starting any of these books…
Mark is a gifted author, his observations of the past, present and future make for a powerful combination in his writings. Can not wait for book 2 in this series. Kevin Pierce is a powerful narrator, his tones while reading draw you into the stories making you feel as if you are living them first..

If you hang glide and follow the seagulls to catch the currents, you will always wind up circling the city garbage dump. It seems all prepper stories have the main characters having to defend themselves with guns against the criminally inclined. What saves this and why I did not give it one star is there..
