it was a hair raising, white knuckle ride. I recommend for anyone that likes end of the world dystopian books.

Great Story! It took me a minute to figure out what was going on but then I had to know what was going to happen next. I was so happy with the ending.

I didn’t like all the infighting and back biting amongst the main characters but it seems plausible considering the circumstances.This story seems like it must have taken an incredible amount of research and creativity to weave together. It could have been a great series. The overall story line is very good but the fascination with knife fighting and winning against trained soldiers with rifles just gets to be way too much. Along with the 120 lbs. woman beating the crap out of EVERY man she encounters is exhausting.

I loved the book. I laughed so many times, some of the parts were hilarious. Franklin continues his great world building as he introduces new plots and characters.
