Solid 5★s

Review from Turbulent →

I greatly enjoyed listening to Turbulent! Awesome start to what I believe will be a great series. =) I’m always up for a good post apocalyptic story with a small amount of prepper ideas stirred in. The balance was perfect & the action wasn’t overdone (ie, gory). Maddie’s little charge was a true trooper. I..

Review from Doc: The Rape of the Town of Lovell →

I LOVE the true crime team of Olsen and Pierce, but this is by far my least favorite audio book of theirs. it starts of incredibly dull and slow, then gets interesting, but soon after that it is almost 10 hours of non stop courtroom transcripts and people just slinging insults and accusations at one..

Excellent

Review from Legion of Despair →

Pierce, as usual, turns in a magnificent narration of this intense story. I’ve read this series multiple times, but now listening to it, I’ve found nuisances that I didn’t find simply reading. A great story by a great writer, narrated by the best in the business.

Brutal Business indeed!

Horton delivers another knock out punch in his 3rd book in The Mad Mick series. The action is amped up in this thriller all the way. The banter between Connor and Barb in this one definitely gets the funny bone as well

Heartbreaking story well told!

Review from A Killer Among Us →

It’s a murder story well done. I read hundreds on a regular basis and appreciated the straightforward telling of the story with no frills. Transcripts from the court cases were read aloud and I was able to follow along as if I were there. Recommend!

More of the madness

Exceptional

Review from No Stone Unturned →

Confronting, accurate, inspiring and brilliant… this is such an exceptional story of the beginning of forensics science and forensic investigators… in the science of what we now know as crime scene investigations.
