Normally I would prefer to hear a black narrator. But to hear this white narrator say, “Nigga you trippin’” was hilarious.
What a thrill ride from beginning to end. Throw in some hart stopping moments, funny moments and you have one great book. Do not hesitate to pick this book up but be warned you will not be able to put it down, turn on the coffee pot sit back and enjoy.

This was an awesome book by mark did when all of his books that I have read have been excellent as well Kevin Pearce is an excellent narrator the story moved quickly it was hard to put it down and look forward to the next book.
You know a story is well written when you’re involved enough to get mad at the characters. This was another book at the high level of Goodwin’s talent. The series is a bit short, but well worth reading.

Easy to follow and good character formation through out the book. I would really like some spin offs of the different characters and their journey in this situation
It’s so refreshing to read a book from someone who actually understands combat and ballistics. The second I read a book and the author calls a magazine a “clip” or that “he used the .44 magnum for more stopping power than the 5.56” Im done…
I loved this book. The narration of Kevin Pierce is so flawless that the book goes up a level. The story is obviously horrific, but I still got a feeling of strength from the women in the end.
