Poor explanation of the setup and reason the Chicoms came to begin with. So poor understanding of goals.

Loved this book- well researched and detailed. Did not appreciate how 99% of the women were depicted as tearful and hysterical, while most of the men were brave and calm, but that may be related to the bias of time it was written.

This series was very good. Top notch narration! From beginning to end, all three books (I bought the box set) kept me enthralled.
