Fortunately Audible let’s us return books we don’t like. I usually enjoy post apocalyptic stories, but the premise of this book is so absurd – and the plot twists so unreasonable – I had to quit. Dog Stars, Commune, One Second After and Alas Babylon much better.

Very well done interesting story line not the common survivalist series of books this has a moral and biblical injection into the story this keeps this different from the usual bleak gray world. Don’t expect the story to be completely predictable but it does move along in an engaging story line. New preppers will learn..

I loved this series even though I’m not super religious. Mark Goodwin does a great job bringing the Biblical text to life. It took a few chapters to get into this series but then I binge listened to all 4 books. Great story.
