Sad story, but I loved hearing it through the detectives viewpoint. Felt like I was on the scene and following the clues right alongside them.

Out of all the new books coming out, I really liked this one! It’s different then most of the genre and Kevin did a great job narrating as always. It was different enough to not be confused with other post apocalyptic books. I was provided a free review copy by audio book boom, it did..
As always, I loved his book. I appreciate the clean language and narrative. I just wish they were longer because I listened to it in one day while working! I live getting lost in these “what if” scenarios.
the reader for this book was bot the right choice with the verbiage used in this autobiography he was a bad choice. book was great outside of that
I’m going back listen to some of my favorite series on Audible. I have to include the Dark New World. Fun listen too with memorable characters and moments.
I thought the “Last Times” novels would be the lowtide of writing quality. Yet this book was very unrealistic and contrived. The reading was well done, but could not cover the lack of writing skills.
So the first couple of reviews seemed really positive and the overall rating was good. I was looking for a series to hold my attention in this genre. I will mention now, I got a little in and thought the religious tones to the book were too much and I was going to return it..

Your child begs you to save the family and leave before the collapse of society. What do you do? Will they make it, yes. Will there be hard times, yes. Great book. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
