This book had the right amount of war, family, love, friends, and survival. I could not put it down.

I’m enjoying the story. I prefer to learn about prepping and survival through fiction instead of YouTube.

Does teach anything ! Lots of talk but really limited information. Disappointed ! Wish I could get my money back !!!

The characters were well defined and developed and although there were several parallel storylines they were easy to keep track of who was where and what was going in. Well written and well read.

Love that Elijah is a key element of the story. And the relationships bring a refreshing story of their own

Olsen depicts the facts vividly and unashamedly. It is a disturbingly sad story. One of the most difficult true crime stories to listen to.

Good lord it’s the same thing over and over, there is zero progression and nothing interesting about what the plot is about. Also the narrator was horrible. Save your money.

This is an excellent series. Very well researched/conceived. The character development is awesome. You really get to know them and connect with them. Like the Pecos Trader, the story slowly turns from everyday life into the stone ages. I definitely recommend.

From the first word to the last, I was captivated.Incredible story with characters that was so interesting. Some were so bad and some were so good. Never was the book dull or slow. The narration was incredible.Now I’m moving on to the next book in this series.
