Everything about this book is beautiful! The story it, no pun intended, unearths? Is truly fascinating! If you love “true crime”? This is where you begin….
This book is a train ride from the moment you pick it up until you put it down. I really loved all the characters in the book, especially the main guy. I have been wanting a post-apoco book for a long time and it’s action packed, tightly written from beginning to end. If you love..
Love the series this book is just a bit well no not a bit cliché with the amnesia and everything else in the story wish the Dad’s story was more about the fighting to get to her and not his recovery
This, the sixth installment, had it all! The full gamut of emotions, some of the funniest parts, some sad parts and of course parts that are so loving and kind. The author has written a fictional story that reads like you are living it. You feel what the characters feels and this book is outstanding!
I liked this book, the story was good. BUT there was too much jumping around. Even WORSE was the language – filthy and blasphemous. The story would have been just as good without trashy language. I know God and mothers would agree.
I always enjoy hearing prepper tidbits while listening to Mark Goodwin’s books. Kevin Pierce as usual also did an outstanding job.
There isn’t any new ground here, but the story is well told and the situations by in large are believable. The interaction of people in a high stress situation can be extreme and some are in this story. The age groups are pretty well represented and each has their own normalcy bias, relationships and reactions…
Faith and Hope not backed up with strong leadership and bigger guns will result in total annialation. Government is only a means of extortion. Citizens are prey. Criminals also prey upon society. Combine the two elements and you have this book.
Mark Goodwin never disappoints. I did t realize I missed this series, I’ve read all the others and came back to this one. Loved it.
