I loved the opening scenes, set on vacation in Maine, on an island. The characters in this book come alive and this story never slows down for long. I couldn’t quit listening until it was done. This family is just trying to get home, after catastrophe strikes and they run into all kinds of trouble..

I have read a lot of books in this genre and was hoping that this would be another one. sadly, I found the story weak and lacking details. The narrator was so irritating that I had to force myself to finish this book.
