Read his first book where he actually discusses remote viewing. This book is primarily about his personal life with little to no discussion about his viewing. The book is mired in self pity and claims of victimization. Boring beyond words.

One the better EMP books I have listened to. Well written and believable on how the characters were developed. Must EMP listen.

great story, moves a bit fast for the distance they travel in a shtf situation but the reader makes up for any shortcomings. I’ll be getting book 2.

This is THE book to read (or to listen to) if you are a Social Studies Teacher. Quintessential. Timeless. The best “teacher book” I have ever read!

Another book that I could not finish because of Pierce’s narration. He dumbs down the dialogue and makes simpletons of the characters. Went the way of many post apocalyptic novels. Single well trained soldier type with LOTS of military grade weapons and a fortress taking out lots of bad guys singlehanded. Meh

it was good…but short and predictable. Not really any twists… just gets straight after it. The reader was one of the better ones I’ve listened to. I’ll most likely follow the series though. Thx
