Another great book by Franklin Horton. Loved the Locker Nine series to date. Looking forward to the next installment when the guy with missing fingers comes for the farm.

The story begins rather slow, introducing and giving background on the main characters. Grace, the heroine, well trained by her Dad. Locker Nine refers to the supply locker her father prepared for her while she was away at school and her CB handle. The preps and the decisive action to “bug out” very good. Good that her roommate left with her and was supportive. Good story.

Mostly the story is about preppers having to fight drug addicts and selfish people. I would think it unrealistic EXCEPT having read accounts of WWII, the meanness and cruelty is less in the story than what I am expecting in a real life apocalypse scenario. Also, in real life drug addicts and twisted people kill..
