I am an amateur heliophysics buff and found this captivating story with characters I loved to be the most realistic and accurate portrayal of a world shutdown. Everything was plausible and possible. The battle engagements were do clever and gripping.

Bring on the Banjo Jokes and Survivalist Angst.If you cave come this far with Mr.Horton and Mr.Pierce then you know the enhanced levels of greatness you can continue to expect from both of them. This book may not be a leap of story progression but it does flesh out and develop past events and characters..
best 60 hours! this story is so deep, thrilling. I honestly don’t know the words. I laughed, cried, smiled and at times was sad. in the end, I was fulfilled. definitely recommend!
I was intrigued by the shear magnitude of the undertaking. I could not put it down and may start all over and listen again. Thank you to the authors!!!!
It’s nice to see a great series evolve. Not the best book in the series, however the story is enough to keep your attention.
I love this series and I hope they’re more books to come and if so I hope to see the community grow and figure out how to restore power and water.
