Great story. Plausible storyline, great character development and very well written. Kevin Pierce ‘s narrating works perfectly with each author’s respective writing styles. If you’re a fan of the genre you’ll enjoy this book.

I love loved this book. Such a clear and realistic rendition of how an event might happy. Life goes on but simple feuds escalates to few law makers being able to cover the carnage of fire power and general people pushing the boundaries of what they can get away with… soon it’s actually only down..
I so enjoyed these 4 books I had to finish hearing them over 2 days; I could not pause the excellent narration until it was time to go to bed! Never got bored; had to continue to the next chapter of 72. The biblical scripture at the start of each chapter was old Bible prophecy..

Really well thought-out story, you could easily see it becoming our reality. It has me making a few lifestyle changes of my own to be better prepared just in case. My only complaint is it gets a little too preachy for me.
My obsession with true crime is teal y’all. But I serially cannot get enough of the Olsen / Pierce duo!!

This series is fantastic and Book 4 did not disappoint. Especially love the complexity of behavior and response (Charlottes’ breakdown, and Randy’s natural instinct, both hard battles won).
Franklin Horton is well respected author and this book is a fine example of why. The fiction and nonfiction merge well, the characters are well built, the situations are reality based and the readers emotions are played like a fiddle.

The story has several layers and the story is told, in large part, from the POV of the prosecuting attorney. The story also has several updates after the initial conclusion which really allows the reader to hear much more “truth”.
