As noted by other reviewers, the over-arching premise of this series is quite interesting – same characters, different scenarios. We’re warned in the preliminary Author’s Note that the actions and fates of the characters may be different from book to book. That’s a neat idea and I can’t recall reading a series quite like this..
the female narrator’s voice sounds like it’s electronically generated. Otherwise, it was a good, but disturbing read.
This book is nothing but god this and god that. When you hear apocalypse you think gritty real life stuff not hesitant god fearing mumbo jumbo. Not to mention the constant out of the way bashing of “liberal” beliefs.
This is the second in the series.I found it less interesting than I thought I would.Kevin Pierce was again,the perfect narrator.I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.
