This was a great series. I already knew the primary characters from the Prequel box set. That was my intro to Mark Goodwin actually. I’m a little sad that it’s over but all good things must come to an end I suppose. Here on earth at least. Also I’ve read my share of non-christian written..
Ive listened to several apocalyptic type books and this series stands out. It’s organized, believable and well written. It really draws the listener in… for nearly 30 hours!
The story is fairly entertaining, and the narration is awesome. When it comes to firearms, the author makes several statements that break immersion from the story, which is disappointing. For example, one bad guy buys a bunch of suppressors at gun shows to get around the waiting period. This comes across like a misinformed CNN..

I was looking for another Christian series after finishing the Nir Tavor series by Amir Tsarfati and this caught my eye.
