Wow, what a great start to a series. The book itself was a great story but also laid the foundation for a series with post apocalyptic themes, a rival power, roots in the clandestine services, and the IRA!
Book one was good and book two just kept building. Problems were solved and new ones introduced.
This story was well written and realistic, when it comes to what would happen if the lights go out. obviously the prophetic aspect is not realistic (to most). Do not allow the religious part of the story deter you. I am not religious and I still greatly enjoyed this book.

I initially disliked the premise of the Alt Apocalypse but with each new entry, it gets better and better. looking forward to Polar. As always, Kevin Pierce does a fantastic job narrating.

EMP event aftermath a little unrealistic but entertaining. Guns and bad people. I do not think people would go bad in 2 days, although those with the disposition likely to go bad eventually.
