Review from Surrender the Sun Series Boxset: Books 1-3 Apocalyptic Dystopian Thriller →
i happened to be listening to this 3 book set for 1 audible credit during a set of snow storms which really took the whole experience to a new level. I look forward to reading more from A.R. Shaw and Kevin Pierces audio performance knocked it out of the park once again. I recommend this..
This book was not my cup of tea. Moved slowly, and in places seems repetitive. I will try another book by Mr. Olsen to see if it was just the subject matter.
Good prepper/post apocalypse novel. Hero, prepping, capable women, some good marriages and friends, a villain, information on prepping. I recommend this book.
The Blackout Series, while interesting, is not as good as Pandemic or Yellowstone. The narration is not as good and the tendency to preach is a little heavy. The chapters are short and the series is broken into too many books. I’m a little disappointed. Bobby Akart is so much better than this!!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review Really liked the start of this series. Once again Horton and Pierce team up for a great book.
Mad Mick is one of his best novels. New characters and new adventures but enough from previous books to make it feel like I am reading about old friends. dangerous old friends.
