Get ready for chillaxing. Kevin is the best narrator in the world. Great characters…great all around story.
The perspective contained in this book is much needed in our churches and in our world. It is a wonderful work. Unfortunately, the narrator is dead pan and brings little to no enthusiasm to this important work.
Well first, you have Kevin Pierce performing which makes the book series flow smoothly. Great character development, plenty of action most of the time and likeable characters that are slightly flawed and realistic. The writing and the scenes are believable, as is the trouble they have on the journey. This is one of the better..
loved the entire series. Didn’t always agree with the characters and spoiler ***Gary might be the biggest coward as a Marine I’ve ever seen. Great job with the series, loved it! Loved the performance and the story was amazing
This is the first of the series I had listened too. All of them are supposed to be stand-alone stories and it definitely sounded like that would work out in this storyline. I enjoyed this book but didnt have the desperate need to listen every second like I would have liked. I don’t know that..
Abraham’s again gives us a close, personal story of survivors that is easy for the listener to project themselves into the characters.
I appreciate the author not using foul language and the use of bible verses But,,, THE USE of unbiblical stories/teaching is worse than not using it all. The author seems to be stuck in the old covenant in his use of the bible. Instead of living under the new covenant, of grace ,mercy, forgiveness, death,..
I’m 2 1/2 hours in. Probably over an hour and a half of preaching and less than an hour of story. if he starts telling a survival story soon, I’ll revise my review. If not, I’ll find another book. If I wanted to listen to scripture, I’d buy the bible. the synopsis states “biblical references,”..
