I found this book to be easy to listen to and packed full of useful ideas. The historical perspective provided me with a deeper understanding of some of the same issues we are still dealing with today, i.e. for profit prisons and immigration. I highly recommend this book to anyone who believes in order to..
A fantastic book!! Really puts you through a range of emotions…laughing, sadness, shock! A must read for anyone who loves SHTF books! And the ending….definitely didn’t expect that!
90% of the book is just them driving. It didn’t explain what really happened and why the soldiers were shooting people and raiding their houses. One of the worst endings ever!
I loved this book. Not a story that follows the normal outline of apocalypse stories. Kevin Pierce was solid as narrator. cant wait to hear more of him. will be terrible to wait until August to see what happens to who.
Did I like this book? Let me put it this way, after an hour of listening I quickly downloaded the next Book. Solid story great characters and lots of action. The BEST is Kevin Pierce as the narrator.

The book continues the story of Pressia, Partidge, Bradwell, and all of the other characters wonderfully. This book uncovers new mysteries and there is a lot of action throughout the book. But the narrator for Lyda’s section of the book were absolutely horrible! It sounded like a robot was narrating! It was actually difficult to..

So many books I’ve listened to in this genre portray their leading ladies as poor little damsels in distress. Even when their lives or the lives of their children are threatened. That is so incredibly inaccurate, offensive and frustrating to female listeners. Finally an author who gives a woman and mother character the gusto she..
