This series has everything you are looking for! lot of action, love, pain, killing and good people. The narrator is doing a great job as usual. I honestly do not believe he could do a horrible book, in fact I think he could make a horrible book great!
can’t wait to read the next book this story took me by surprise it was a book that just looked out of this world but it really came down to just the care of another being
The title of the book is a little misleading. Jack Hunt write a good story but it has little to do with the Last Storm. My expectation was that the Storm would be the main focus of the story but it wasn’t. The storm could have been any major blizzard that trapped a group of..
At first I wanted to return the book because I was lost from the beginning. But I’m glad I stuck with it. I love the relationship of Richard (Dick) and Courtney.
Great survival book. James, the main character, had only minutes or hours in different situations to react to save himself and his family. He took immediate, decisive action to save his family from the tsunami, 3 would-be kidnappers, vicious meth squatters, and other situations. Appreciated the characterization of Vincent, one of the bad guys. He..
As Monroe’s books progressed, they just got better and better. I read them over about a 3 year period, one per year, and each not all at once, but spread out over many months. They each perfectly resonated with me at just the right time I need to here what Mr. Monroe had to say…
Akers needs to figure out how to finish a story. It’s ridiculous that this book ends with so many unresolved threads and loose ends. If the tedious preparedness sermons were removed, the story could have been completed by this point. So far, the story is typical post-apocalyptic fiction with some fairly believable characters. Kevin Pierce..
Lots of information. Zero action. Struggled through chapter 8 before returning it. Narrator was just fine, but even he couldn’t make this dry book interesting.
Akart did a great job with this volume 2. Pierce delivered as usual, excellent. I like where the start and stop points land with the chapters. Akart is a good writer
