I am a huge fan of a strong female lead character and Lauren does not disappoint.I eagerly await book 5 so I go back and read listen starting with one.

My second book in this series so far. I read Ash a month or two ago. It is fun to see the same characters in differing situations. This is a great premise for a series, to place the same cast of characters in various apocalyptic situations and seeing what kinds of decisions. I’m very curious..
Lacking flow. Too much backstory. Slow with the substance. Feels like this is one episode of a TV series when I feel a book should be an entire season in the series. Jumps/skips over certain pretty important things.

Totally my opinion, but way too predictable in story line and character development.. Granted these types of stories can have only so many ways to go; the manner in which this one was done just did not capture my attention as hoped.

I did struggle to finish this book. Started it several times only to lay it aside. It is an ok book but did not keep my interest.
This book will help so many fields of study understand that eark part is a important as the other. This is a team sport as much today as when coppers first started find death body. Or even better yet, had a dead body, but couldn’t find it.
Love to have scriptures @ the beginning of every chapter. I’d love it if there was a sequel to this book.
There is something about this series that has captured my attention and my heart. The characters jump off the page and their development throughout the series is honest and realistic. I have both read the print version and listened to the audible versions. As always Kevin Pierce knocks it out of the park, he brings..
