I respect a good apoc series that is is enthralling yet easy to listen to and doesn’t involve hordes of zombies (albeit i love them as well!) – between Abrahams writing style and Pierces’ soothing voice, I’m able to be intrigued while also relaxing… big fan.
This was a 3.5 and after many reviews I really would like to see audible make it a 10 point rating, some lesser books, like this, are worth the read but just not up to the 4 star stuff. I really enjoyed the first part of the book, young girl in peril, smart and lucky..

liked it for the most part. sometimes I felt the character development took too long… but it is probably because this is the first fiction book I have read in years.
the story was decent with pretty good pacing. The narrator was clear and had a nice rich warm voice although I found it hard to distinguish between saw his character voices. They all sounded quite similar to me. full disclosure, this audiobook was provided free to me for an unbiased and fair review in return.
