The story was way too long. Disappointed with how it ended. Not really worth the credit. I bought it in a 2 for 1 credit and not that much to pick from so I settled on this book.
Not that great…

A very realistic present day apocalyptic story without gory detaisl or zombies. What would we do if a CME hit. Interesting perspectives that begin to play out in a world without power & technology.
I want to thank the real Rick Ross for writing this book. Thank you for sharing your powerful story and knowledge!
This is the grand finale of Disruption Trilogy. There’s a bit of a surprise ending. It wraps up the mess that the country had become and starts on the improvement of the country. There’s twists and turns throughout all 3 of the series and makes for an exciting ride.
Jack Olsen did a great job of setting the scene and sharing his research into these horrific crimes. I’ll admit, there were times I felt like I was there. The pros for me were a great narrative style and the ring of truth. The cons were that I didn’t need to know quite so much..
The author tries to convey his obsession with Spain, but only shows his obsession with himself. Codified narcissism. Have listened to two hundred+ books and this was the worst. I didn’t finish the other two terrible books on my list, but this was so bad I listened to all of it out of morbid curiosity..
There was a warning that the book contained religion. It was not mentioned that it was full on crazy fundamentalist. Much hand ringing over premarital sex, stealing and lying, but killing and torturing people never caused a moment of doubt. There was at best one likable character.
