Overall a decent apocalypse story with one glaring exception—the absolutely stupid political pontification and the inane conclusions proffered by the author.

Story was mediocre at best. Too many bible quotes. And why the need to say date time place years after scourge every new chapter or story shift. That was amazingly irritating and unnecessary. Narrator was the only thing that kept me listening. Hard to believe the only weapons the cartel had was shotguns?
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I wasn’t sure how this book would be at the beginning but it quickly turned around!
