I like the book and am really interested to see how the series continues. I like the idea of using the same charactors in different settings. I am hoping it shows how different choices affect the group dynamics.
Good series idea

just horrible had to stop half way through the book its mostly poorly written stories that mostly sound scavenged from other books with constant political ranting. I consider myself non-partisan and dont take sides but i really dont want to read about someones personal beef with the other political side. Write a documentary if that..
author is very impressed with himself. goes on and on in the later chapters. it was way over the top. story and narrator are perfection
First of all, I read the description wrong on this book. I thought the book was a series of vignettes that explored different apocalyptic scenarios. It’s a book SERIES that does so – each book covers a different scenario. But I was intrigued about the idea for the series. Take the same cast of characters..
“I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.” Although this is no where near my favorite Apocalypse type story, it still gives a different point of view than having to fight off Zombies. There are a few holes in the story line and I won’t be..
When reading the description I was kinda skeptical of the concept, but hey 23 hours worth a book for one credit can’t be beat. It’s your ordinary SHTF genre situation with an extraordinary twist. Unlike most of the other books from this genre there were many situations where I really wondered to myself “wait, is..
Havent finished. Cant finish. In an emp world, the author totally missed the reality.People driving cars, child safety locks being engaged, airbags deploying and the roads are clear for driving!??95% of the cars on the road will be dead. Driving from point ‘a’ to ‘b’ will not be so easy. Road ways will be cluttered..
This genre of story is very interesting to me and I was excited to hear it based on the reviews. Two things, however, are making it hard for me to finish. One is the narrator. He has this slow talking older man voice the just kind of grinds on and on. Second is the way..
I never try to give anything away on a book that I hope is listened to by many. The event that makes this post apocalyptic is not unique, actually plausible seeing where we are today. The lead character is Joe. He is not former special forces nor a survivalist with 20 years prepping for this..
I crave more of the adventure and don’t know how patient I will need to be before book 5 is on Audible. The book continued the adventure for both groups and Ryan kept it exciting. Love Kevin Pierce as the narrator!!!
