Loved it! felt like I could relate to some of the characters, minus the whole apocalypse thing, but with be stubborn on changing for the good and not listening to what God has said, very good, love the characters!
Average(?) country boy can survive. I liked that it wasn’t the usual uber-prepper takes on the world. Kevin did an excellent job with the narration. He disappears and leaves you just the characters.

story was poorly put together and the main guy did things that no one in his place would do. the lovey dovey stuff was ridiculous and the female characters were annoying at best. I wouldn’t recommend this book. the narrator wasn’t bad
