I really enjoyed this book in the series. I am not a big fan of the ending but did provide hope and if there is a next book I am in. Nice to see a female lead given I have two daughters I have raised very similar as to not be dependent on others.

These books are good. But they are a rip-off for the price. They should be sold 2 for the price of one.
I like this particular brand of EOTW/SHTF series. Usually there are true believers in preparedness books and unbelievers of preparing. But, in this particular book it’s a spouse that is screwing up the hubbies preparedness. This particular spouse/wife has a twin sister that is totally opposite of her and is prepared in every way imaginable…

Kudos for the author in making a pretty familiar EMP Prepper storyline interesting. There is some solid prepper information as well as it seems a good amount of moonshine research. Probably a lucrative and useful skill should things go downhill as they do in this book. The characters are interesting and overall the story line..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? Yes, and I did. Any additional comments? This books starts out so unbelievably strong.
