I like the premise, and the writing is decent. I really hate the Ray Charachter, but you are supposed to. the ending is what dropped the book to a 3 star for me, though. without giving away details, it just wasn’t a satisfying ending.

it’s a great story and good subject matter. However, it’s difficult to relate with the characters sometimes, and I’m upset with all the liberal subplots that take place nowadays.

Franklin Horton again Wiles us with this captivating Tale of post-apocalyptic survival. first of all the narration as always was remarkably done. second of all the storyline was okay the biggest problem with the book is how every character constantly did everything wrong not one of the characters seem to have done anything correct and some of these are Preppers with experience and no and they made..
The author writes his female characters as weak and stupid. Very disappointing. I should’ve know, given the title. Shame on me. I love apocolyptic books, and it stated out pretty good, but he makes Olivia out to be a complete dimwit, when according to the story, she had also been a prepped with her husband…

Amazing how fast things went downhill. Those things are creepy! Especially, when they evolved into a more dangerous predator. Generally, the beginning of the book are slow for me. I enjoyed the interactions between the different scientists. The narrator did another fantastic job. I received this audiobook for free through Audiobook Boom for my unbiased..
Really short, but interesting perspective. I will listen again when I need a short distraction.
