I did not know where this book was going but it has been a light for me to hold to faith along with bullets beans and band aid I do wish the battle at the end was more Jesus vs satin like a superhero battle but it was still a great series

I did enjoy listening to the book, great narration and enjoyed the odd characters that travel together (Elliot, Maggie, Jessie and Damon) to upstate NY. It was more realistic at the start of an EMP than some other books. Cannot wait for the next one to find out more with Elliot and his family especially..

This book made me angry. It is so so SO biased for Susan and her family. I believe that Josh murdered Susan and I believe all or part of his family knew about it in some form or another. I didn’t go into this expecting sympathy for Josh or their family (other than his sons)..
