really enjoyable storyline I wish it was longer, possibly a second book in the future

I applaud the author for closing out a 10-book series in a unique way, never would have expected this. No matter what, I’m glad to have listened to this series as a whole, it provides a good framework for how a collapse is likely…..certainly won’t be zombies…..this is a real scenario that makes you think…

I’m totally with the message of the book. love and power need to work together. however this book offers very little insight past that. if you want to know what this book is about just go watch his Ted talk on the subject and you’ll pretty much get the overall message

I liked this book and the series because it is more realistic than the average zombie apocalypse. Human nature can be scarier than make believe and more beautiful than sometimes expected. I enjoy learning while being entertained. good character development, good pace, realistic scenarios.

This book gives the listener some things to think about in regard to surviving apocalyptic events. I get the feeling that the author has much to contribute in the non-fiction, survival genre, but a writer of fiction he is not! Another great story by Franklin Horton. I’ve read all his books and haven’t been disappointed yet.

Very disappointed. I really enjoy this narrator. But the book goes from an apocalyptic tale of survival to a politically charged Trump rally. I stopped listening. This is the second time this has happened with a book from this narrator. Its very disappointing.
