Too bleak all the time. There were about three and a half decent characters- most of which had something happen to ruin or kill them. And there’s a shocking amount of thinly, or not at all veiled misogyny throughout. Not just from the villains- which almost all of them were- but even from the characters..

this app always seems to just turn it self on and start playing. I’ve gone through all the settings and nothing will stop it from doing that. it should only come on when I want to start the app
I like the realistic portrayal of characters and places, both from the maritime industry, people in the military, and first responders. I like how the main characters had to solve problems in a post-apocalyptic world.

This was not at all what I expected in lol a post apocalyptic novel but it was an interesting take on what could happen hundreds of years after a massive apocalyptic even lollauûìoo nt. There were some pieces left unexplained. I really wanted to know more about the base.
