I really enjoyed this book. Perfect balance of thought process and action items. Very well written.

These books are consistently well written, fast paced and unpredictable. Well worth the credit. One note on this series- the capitol police are made out as bad guys in this book. They are in fact heroes. It’s the insurrectionists that deserve the writers scorn. Just wanted to set the record straight.

Liked the character development and how many stories it followed throughout the book. Never a boring listening experience.

Loved the way he brought the story to you and took you along with him

This shows tenacity and determination of the father and love he has for his daughter, no matter the circumstances. It also shows the same for the young man that goes through a lot to help the people he learned to care for.

I like the biblical aspect of this post apocalyptic novel. So many books in this genre can be filled with too much graphic details so I found this series to be refreshing.

I don’t normally read this type but I am pleasantly surprised and read more in the future
